OUR FAMILY

HOME

Family is family, you stick up for each other.  When the tree gets old and dies, saplings take over.  This is how the forest is created.  Parents are not the glue holding the family together, it's everyone contributing...

So in lessons of life, my granddaughter tried to fit in with school and it resulted in her being expelled, required to go through the county courts, and 6 months probation.  "What did she do so bad to deserve all of this"???

Well it all started with her being bullied at school.  She was picked on and despite the school being notified as well as the district (Colville School District), the bullying continued.  In an effort to "fit in", she agreed to sell some vape pens in the middle school.  She got this stuff from some high schoolers that were involved.  She was caught of course.  Rather than listen to the story, the district took the harshest discipline in expulsion.  This was presented to the police whom then drafted up charges and she had to make several appearances in court.  She's a 14 year old that doesn't do drugs but tried an approach so she wouldn't be picked on any more and this the result.  She is now on 6 months probation, and if she's clean by age 18, it comes off her record.  Donald John Trump got off with zero discipline for corruption in the 2020 Election Interference.  Incited riots, told police to shoot black people in the legs, and so much more.  Scott FREE!!  What the FUCK is wrong with the Colville School District and the Stevens County Court System?  Zero tolerance for bullying in school that is the law.  Colville School District refused to fix the problem, rather they went after my granddaughter.  There's something to be said that if I were rich, the school district would have a lawsuit on their hands.  Principals would be terminated, and the parents of the bullies detained and provided mandatory training on properly raising their kids - and if they failed they would lose the kids to CPS.  I myself am 100% fed up with this shit.  I was bullied in school, I know what it's like.  Now as an adult, I simply choose to not take it.  People whom know me know I have one bad ass temper should someone cross me.  This is due to the lack of help provided by the schools.  Now this shit is happening again and I won't stand for it.  Looks like I may have to seek out help through Olympia if any of them idiots will actually care enough to listen.  Sorry for the language but it helps get it out of my system.

We celebrate Autism in our home (did I say that???).  I wonder who came up with "celebrate".  If you live in a home with autistic kids, it's no party and no real celebration.  It can be a huge struggle, why lie about it.  We have three kids (well, they're all grown up now but two still....  Two live with us and are both autistic.  We have our struggles, fights, screaming matches, and arguments.  We also laugh it up and make fun of each other too.  It's either "live, love, & Laugh" or go crazy in this household.

Addendum, happy to report our youngest son whom we have had the most difficult time, has been turning the corner into being more hospitable.  Not perfect, but he's trying harder, as are we.

We play video games, binge watch TV shows, take little trips here and there, or do what we can knowing we have limitations.  Can't get too adventureous due to my medical issues, but we try.

In 2019, I discovered my dad's side of the family.  I've never known my dad but he's on my birth certificate.  I reached out at age of 55 to see what I could find using ancentry.com.  I discovered I have a sister on my dads side.  My dad had passed away in 1995.  Thinking about it, I'm not so sure Wanda was totally convinced up front but I think the plane ticket she bought and seeing me convinced her I was her brother.  She said she saw me and said she'd thought she'd seen a ghost.  It was great meeting her.  We flew out to Alabama as well and ventured around.  Got to meet Rodney, travel around to Tennessee, see Dollywood and Nashville during the pandemic so couldn't really do much.  Now we're just waiting on our next adventure.....

Another addendum, it's now been 5 years since I met my sister in Alabama.  Has it been that long already?  Oh my!!  It's nice to have another life adventure here.  We've been trying to make plans to go back and forth seeing each other.
